However certain diseases such as ulcer, colitis and appendicitis, gynecological or obstetric as well as metabolic disturbances also cause pain in the stomach. Symptoms of the pain in abdomen include various signs. It may start as a twisting pain in stomach, continuous pain with relative intervals or unwillingness for taking meal accompanied with occasional vomiting sensation.
