Senior tennis has become quite an interesting event in the recent era.

The game of tennis was well conceived by India and has now become quite an important sport in the modern day with the establishment of the Indian Tennis Association back in the year

Recently there are two types of tennis that are being played in India .One is senior tennis and another is junior level tennis. The senior tennis is classified into two segments - Men tennis and Women tennis.

Men Tennis: There are three types of tournamets, which are played by Indian men. ATP tournament, ITA tournament and Davis cup. Davis cup is the premier international event of men tennis .The full form of ATP is Association Tennis Professionals. There are lots of Tennis tournaments under ATP including 4 grandslams. All the best players of the world are associated with that.

Senior Women Tennis Women Tennis: In women tennis there are also three events-Fed cup, WTA tour and ITA Fed cup is the leading international tennis event among women.

World Tennis Association is the main conglomerate of women tennis. Famous female players are associated with that. Lots of events are played under the aegis of WTA.
