
Shankersinh Vaghela was the member of the 14th
Lok Sabha of India and was the Union Cabinet Minister of Textile from 2004 to 2009. He contested from
Kapadvanj constituency of
Gujarat and is an active member of the
Indian National Congress. He also served as the
Chief Minister of Gujarat from 1996 to 1997.
