Copta is the tiny settlement and commencement point to 3rd of Panch Kedar Tungnath. It offers beautiful view of the imposing Himalayan Mountain Range that includes Nanda, Trishul Mountain, Devi and Chaukhamba Peak. This place is rich in flora and fauna. Copta is located amidst deodar, pine and rhododendrons.

Chopta is very easily accessible and is situated near a Hamlet connect Gopeshwar with Guptkashi.
