Sur Sangeet went on air on the 25th of September 2003. It is a free-to-air digital Hindi music Channel catering to the Hindi audience across India with programming that takes over the entire range of music, particularly in Hindi. Sur Sangeet televises a variety of Hindi Film Songs, Clippings, Trailors, Private Albums, Pop Music and all spices relevant to Music offering entertainment that caters to wide range of viewers across all age groups. Hindi, the national language is used for interacting with its viewers.

The programmes on Sur Sangeet is a mix of anchor based as well as back to back songs covering music of all moods be it melody, fast tracks, romantic, ghazals, etc., which stands apart for its originality and freshness, appealing to the masses, as most of the masses love Hindi music in our country.
