Bachelor of Engineering

After completion of HSC examinations, a student may either opt for B.Sc (Bachelor of Science), B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) or MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), depending upon the outcome of their results. Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) is a degree, which is awarded to a student by an accredited university on successful completion of 4 year course.

Options available:
A Bachelor of Engineering is usually undertaken in any one of the following fields:

  • Aeronautical Engineering

  • Automobile Engineering

  • Biotechnology Engineering

  • Civil Engineering

  • Chemical Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electronic Engineering

  • Information Technology

  • Mechanical Engineering

    After the completion of B.E, an individual can pursue the following courses:
  • Masters in Engineering (M.E) in any of the above subjects

  • MBA (Master of Business Administration)

    After completion of the Engineering course, an individual may either opt for:

  • Management

  • Research and Development

  • Eligibility for the course:
    Only students from the science stream at +2 level (XI and XII) are eligible for the Bachelor of Engineering course.

    Entrance Tests:
    Students are admitted on the basis of Commom Entrance Test (CET) or centralized All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).
