Arjuna awardees in Squash have so far presented several memorable moments to cherish.

Arjuna Awardees in SquashSquash has been played quite extensively for the past several years in India. India has also produced a large number of talented Squash players who have earned significant recognition and reputation in the international arena. The Squash players have also been honoured by the Government of India from time to time, as they have received the prestigious Arjuna Award. The Arjuna awardees in Squash have brought a lot of glory and pride to their nation and also presented several memorable moments to cherish.

Capt. K S. Jain was the first Squash player to win the Arjuna Award. He became one of the Arjuna awardees in Squash in the year 1961 for his wonderful performances in various tournaments. The next Squash player to win the award was Shri Anil Nayar, who won it after a long gap of 8 years. Anil Nayar won the Arjuna Award in 1969. Then, there was again a long gap of 10 years for a Squash player to win the award. In 1979-80, Major Rajkumar Manchanda entered his name into the list of Arjuna awardees in Squash.

After 1979-80, the famous Indian women Squash player, Km. Bhuvneshwari Kumari became one of the Arjuna awardees in Squash. In the year 1982 M. R. Dharuvala was the next Squash player to win the Arjuna Award and he won it in the year 1990. After another gap of 7 years, the game of Squash saw its next Arjuna Award winner. The popular Indian women Squash player, Ms. Mishra Grewal received the award in 1997. Saurav Ghosal is the latest of the Arjuna awardees in Squash, so far. He won the award in the year 2006.
