Savitra, Thirteenth Nakshatra
Savitra is the thirteenth of the Nakshatras or lunar mansions.

In the Puranas it is mentioned that Savitra is the thirteenth of the Nakshatras or lunar mansions. It is considered to be the portions of the heavens amongst which the moon`s course is divided. Savitra is commonly called Hasta Nakshatra and comprehends five stars.
