Krishnaveni, Mythological River
Krishnaveni is the Puranic name of River Krishna.

In the Hindu mythology it is recorded that Krishnaveni is an Indian river. Krishnaveni is the Puranic name of River Krishna. The word `Veni` in Sanskrit means river.

Krishnaveni is one of the longest rivers of India. It originates from Mahabaleswar in Maharashtra in the west and meets the Bay of Bengal at Hamasaladeevi in Andhra Pradesh, on the east coast.
