The Kinnerasani River is one of the significant tributaries of Godavari.

Moreover the Kinnerasani Dam is very beautiful with surrounded by greenery and natural landscape. Glasses Rest House constructed by Singareni Collieries at Kinnerasani has improved the spot as a tourism place. The Kinnerasani project is located at Yanambile among charming surroundings. The dam provides water to KTPS at Palvoncha for power generation and also for irrigation facilities to the nearby farmers through lift irrigation.

Kinnerasani is inaugurated by Indira Gandhi, which is constructed on the Kinnerasani River. This spot is very famous for its breath taking view from the dam. The tourists visit the Deer park, which is near the Dam. Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary is an important tourist destination in Andhra Pradesh. The sanctuary is the home for varieties of species of wild animals, birds and reptiles. The green vegetation and lively wildlife makes a perfect merge for the sanctuary. The sanctuary is located in the Khamman district of Andhra Pradesh, along the Kinnerasani River. The Kinnerasani sanctuary is the storehouse of exotic life and tourists can view the animals in their natural habitat where they are given all the scope to enjoy their life and rejuvenate.
