RD National College, founded in 1922, is amongst the prominent colleges in India. It provides modern facilities to the students for further growth.
 
 RD National College & W.A. Science College, MumbaiRD National College, one of the esteemed colleges in India, was established in Hyderabad in 1922, under the guidance of Rishi Dayaram Giduma and Annie Besant. After the Partition of India, it got repositioned to Bandra (W), Mumbai. The college originally catered to the educational needs of the refugee community, and later the local population joined the college in large numbers. A variety of courses are offered by RD National College, which include Commerce, Arts and Science, in order to provide an opportunity to the students to develop their future career. The dictum of the college is "Play the Game". RD National College`s mission is to ensure the all round development of the students.

Courses offered at RD National College
The R. D. National College & W. A. Science College provides courses in commerce, arts, science, Computer Science, information technology and mass media courses to the applicants. In bachelor courses, Hindi, English, Economics, History are offered in Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) course. Commerce is offered as the main subject in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.). in the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course, a number of subjects are offered like Botany, Biology, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mass Media, Computer Science, Mathematics, Psychology, Information Technology etc. Other courses like Computer Science, Electronics and IT are provided as Vocational in the junior level college. There are around 240 seats in Commerce, 240 seats in Arts and 600 in Science.

The Honours Programme encourages students to research topics outside their curriculum. The Mentor system has one teacher mentoring 20 students. A credit system encourages students to take up extra-curricular activities. There are also UGC-sponsored certificate courses in Hindustani Classical Music, Odissi dance, Heritage Management, Beauty care and Finishing school.

Facilities of RD National College
RD National College boasts modern and advanced infrastructure and facilities from providing the best library as well as computer facilities. The college also has a top class sports ground, canteen and offers lodging facilities for its students. The badminton and basketball courts are popular hangouts.

RD National College also has an active placement cell that provides information and guidance to the students regarding jobs and recruitment procedure in various esteemed companies.
