The old Dauji shrine is situated on the top of the southern part of the hill, between the Anyaur and the Jatipura villages. These two villages are located b on the south-eastern and the south-western borders of the hill. But this shrine is now in a much damaged condition.
The old Dauji shrine is now usually ignored by the Vallabhite and Gaudiya Vaishnavas. But the local Brajvasis still visit the shrine. The presiding deity here is god Baldev or Dauji (elder brother). Old Dauji is an iconic shrine and the presence of the deity here is emblematically represented by the five Govardhan stones lying in a semi-circle, canopy like arrangement on the floor.
