Hindusthan College of Arts & Science has a well-equipped library, with a collection of more than forty thousand books on different subjects apart from magazines, journals and newspapers. For providing knowledge about issues of the world, the college library stocks various books of India and foreign countries in their latest editions. One also can find books on different regional languages like Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. Wide-ranging laboratories are built in departments like Catering & Hotel Management, Electronics, Computers, Visual Communication and Biological research centre. This helps students not only to study at bookish level, but also an in-depth study of the subject. The laboratories have been planned and designed for achieving simultaneous growth in academic and practical skills, remaining abreast with latest developments.
Hostel facilities for both male and female students are provided separately by Hindusthan College of Arts & Science. Good accommodation is also provided to the foreign students, who take admission to the college. There are 3 hostels for- undergraduate boys; post graduate boys; girls hostel (both for undergraduate and postgraduate students). Tasty and healthy meals in the hostels are enough to suffice the needs of the students of India, as well as those of foreign origin.
The Hindusthan College of Arts & Science Cafeteria serves varied nutritious food and snacks like cakes, fresh juices, Chinese food, full course meals, variety rice, ice creams etc. at affordable rates. It is mainly used by the students and staff. There are separate common rooms for male and female students as well for college staff.
The Placement cell of Hindusthan College of Arts & Science has been created so that it can provide appointment opportunities for the students. It takes initiative for facilitating contacts with some of the reputed companies and organisations.
Apart from pursuing academics, special attention is paid on nurturing a culture of extra-curricular and co-curricular events. Every department consists an association of its own where regular activities like debates, paper presentation, workshops and displays are organised on regular basis.
