 Parthiv Ajay Patel is the wicketkeeper of the Gujarat Cricket team. He was born on March 9, 1985 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He has also played for the Indian cricket team, India Green cricket team and Rajasthan Association President`s XI cricket team. The full name of Parthiv is Parthiv Ajay Patel.
Parthiv Patel is a left-handed batsman. He started playing in the "First-class" matches in 2001-02. In the "List A" matches, Parthiv Patel debuted in 2001-02. The "Test match" debut of Parthiv Patel was against England team, which was held at Nottingham from August 8 to 12 in 2002. Parthiv Patel had his "Twenty20" cricket debut at Leicester on September 15 in 2005.
Parthiv Patel became the Test cricket`s youngest wicketkeeper at the age of 17 years. He was called up in the Indian team to replace the injured Ajay Ratra in the second Test at Trent Brigade.
