This slow left-arm orthodox bowler of Tamil Nadu Cricket team debuted in the "First-class" cricket in 1996/97. Hemang Kamal Badani has played in altogether 96 "First-class" matches with an average of 47.91. His total score in these matches is 5558 runs, which includes 13 centuries and 36 half-centuries. The highest score of Hemang Kamal Badani in any of the "First-class" matches is 164 runs.

While with ball in hand, Hemang Kamal Badani has picked up total six wickets by losing 431 runs out of the 762 balls he played in the "First-class" matches.
