Sairaj Vasant Bahutule is a left-handed batsman and the present captain of Maharashtra Cricket team. He is the captain of present Cricket team of Maharashtra.

V.S Bahutule, the ex-player of Maharashtra Cricket team is the father of Sairaj Bahutule. Apart from playing for the Maharashtra Cricket team, he has also played for the India team and "Surrey Cricket Board". He is an all rounder with specialization in leg break bowling. Sairaj Bahutule made his debut in the "First-class" matches in 1991/92. Sairaj Bahutule had his "List A" debut in 1992/93. Sairaj Bahutule debuted in the "Test matches" against Australia at Chennai, March 18-22, 2001. The "ODI match" debut of Sairaj Bahutule was against Australia on March 18-22, 2001 at Chennai. Sairaj Bahutule debuted in "Twenty20" matches against Gujarat on April 3, 2007 at Mumbai. Sairaj Bahutule is a very balanced player who provides attacking edge to any team. With his brilliant performance including a 13-wicket match in the "Irani Trophy", he got a place in the Indian team in 1997.
