Murtaza Lodhgar is a right-handed batsman of West Bengal Cricket team. His full name is Murtaza Yakubbhai Lodhgar. He was born on May 5, 1976 in Siddhapur, Gujarat.

Murtaza Lodhgar appeals for a close-in catchMurtaza Lodhgar is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. He entered in the "First-class" matches in 1997/98. Murtaza has played in overall nine "First-class" matches with an average of 9.41. His total score in these matches is 113 runs and his highest score in any of these matches is 22 runs. Vinay Kumar, Kunal Lal and Amol Shinde caught Murtaza mostly in the "First-class" matches.

Whereas in bowling in the "First-class" cricket, Murtaza Lodhgar has picked up total 34 wickets by giving 835 runs out of 1947 balls he played. His bowling average in these matches is 24.55 and economy is 2.57. His latest "First-class" match was against Baroda from November 15 to 18 in 2007, which was held at Vadodara.
