The census town, namely, Nongmynsong is located in East Khasi Hills district of the state of Meghalaya

Nongmynsong is the name of a census town, which lies in the district of East Khasi Hills of India`s north -eastern state of Meghalaya.

Identification of the demographical situation enables a person to know its features in the true sense. Down the years eminent demographers are being employed who actually deliver reports on various aspects like population status, literacy rate etc. In this matter a special mentioning may be made of the Census report that has been published in the year 2001. Thus Nongmynsong has shown population count of 11,362. Out of it, male constitutes of 52 %. Following the usual tradition the female population is less than males. 48 % is the total population of females of Nongmynsong. In Nongmynsong town, children who are below six years of age constitute 15 % of the total population.
