Sathyabama University is located at Chennai in Tamilnadu. The University was established in the year 1987 by Dr. Jeppiaar.The genesis of this University lies on Sathyabama Engineering College. The College was under the aegis of Jeppiaar Educational Trust and famous for modern facility and excellent placements. In 2001 the University was declared as the deemed university under the under section (3) of the UGC Act. The main objective of the University is to promote technical education in Tamilnadu.The campus of the university occupies 350 acres of land and contains over125 class rooms, departmental libraries, laboratories, drawing halls, hostels, audio visual halls, dining halls and sports facility.
