Situated in the Nanded district of the state of Maharashtra, Kinwat city showed population count of 24,867

Numerous cities and towns have developed in the states of Indian continent. The state of Maharashtra too is not an exception. Kinwat is an example of a city . A municipal council has been set up in the district of Nanded district of the same state of India. The strategic location of Kinwat is quite significant. In fact Kinwat is located approximately to a height of 19.63° N and 78.2° E. It rises to a height of 314 meters or 1030 feet above the mean sea level.

In order to throw some light about a town`s identifiable features it becomes imperative for a person to accumulate information about Kinwat. If a person desires he can get hold of several information like literacy rate, population status that are related to Kinwat. In this matter, the Census report of India that has been issued forth in the year 2001 is significant. As per the report, Kinwat showed a population count of 24,867. Just like other places of India, In Kinwat also the number of males is more than that of females. To be specific, male populace constitutes 51 %, while the population of females comprises of 49 %.

The experts have developed the opinion that the literacy rate of Kinwat is the ideal indicator for measuring the development of a town. Since the average literacy rate of Kinwat is higher even than that of India, it conforms to its growth and prosperity. Thus 65 percent and 59.5 percent are the average literacy rates of Kinwat and India respectively. Males of Kinwat too have developed propensity towards education, which is rightly evident from its high literacy rate. Thus 72 % is the male literacy rate of Kinwat. In comparison, female literacy rate is less, which constitutes 57 %. In Kinwat, 14 % of the total population is below six years of age.
