In Sanskrit Literature, the term Anala means `fire`.

In Sanskrit Literature, Anala means `fire`. In Hinduism, Anala is defined as one of the Vasus, the attendant deities of Indra and later Vishnu. He is compared with Agni. When listed among the Vasus, Anala is essentially the name usually used for Agni.
