Seema Antil was born on 27th July in the year1983. This Indian discus thrower, Antil at the 2000 World Junior Championships originally won the gold medal, but lost the honor due to a positive drugs test for pseudoephedrine.

At the next World Junior Championships held in the year 2002, she won a bronze medal. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games, Seema Antil won the silver medal. After acknowledging her talent the Haryana state government conferred her with Bhim Award on June 26, 2006. She did not participate at the Asian Games held in the year 2006, which attracted significant media attention.

64.84 metres is her personal best throw. She achieved it in August 2004 in Kyiv.
