Farooqnagar is a town at the Mahbubnagar district in Andhra Pradesh.

Farooqnagar is a census town in Mahbubnagar district in the southern state of India, Andhra Pradesh.

According to the 2001 census report, Farooqnagar had a population of 34,558 inhabitants. In Farooqnagar, 14% of the population is less than six years of age. The town has an average literacy rate of 68%. The literacy rate is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 75% and the female literacy rate is 59%.
