Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is the test that is conducted for getting admissions in the professional degree courses in several streams. This entrance test is organized by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. This entrance test is undertaken by those students who are interested in taking admissions in the professional degree programmes in engineering, medical, agricultural and technological streams. Apart from these courses, this test is held for admissions into several other professional courses against seats that are reserved for the state of Tripura. It includes the seats of Tripura Engineering Colleges. Every year a large number of students appear for this test for taking admissions to the engineering/technological/medical courses. This entrance exam is held at Agartala, Udaipur and Kailashahar of Tripura.

Application Forms for Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
The aspirants can obtain the application forms along with the prospectus either in person or by post from the office of the conducting Board by making a payment of the requisite fee. In case the students are obtaining the application forms through post, they need to make a bank demand draft of the requisite amount in favour of the Board, payable at Agartala. Along with the demand draft, the candidates need to enclose a self addressed and stamped envelope for obtaining the application forms. The candidates must send the completed application forms before the last date of submission. They are advised to go through the prospectus for detailed information before filling up the application forms.

Eligibility Criteria for Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
For appearing the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), the minimum eligibility criterion is that the candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) of Tripura Board of Secondary Education or of Central Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board. The candidate needs to be a permanent resident of Tripura.

Pattern of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
The test paper of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) consists of three separate groups. The medium of this entrance test is either English or Bengali. The questions of this entrance will in English along with their Bengali version. The three groups of this entrance test are as follows -

Group-A
This paper comprises questions from three main subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This paper is meant for those candidates who are seeking admissions into engineering/technological degree courses.

Group-B
Group B comprises questions from subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This paper is meant for the candidates who are seeking admissions into medical/agricultural degree courses.

Group-C
Candidates who are willing to take chance in both of the above mentioned groups need to appear in all the four major subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology).
