Table Tennis tournaments in India are organised at different levels, like at the school level, college level, university level, district level, state level or at the national level.

Table Tennis tournaments in India are also organised by various Table Tennis associations. The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) and all the Table Tennis Associations in India at the state level organise various tournaments throughout the year. India Open is a table tennis tournament, held in India by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). It is at present a part of the ITTF World Tour. Indian Table Tennis League is the country`s first-ever professional table tennis league, held in Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium and at the Thyagaraj Stadium.

School national games are conducted by SGFI (School Games Federation of India). The Table tennis tournaments in India organised by the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) throughout the year include the National Ranking Championships at the regional level. The Championships are organised at all the five Zones like East Zone, West Zone, South Zone, North Zone and Central Zone. The TTFI organise tournaments at various age levels also like Sub-Junior, Junior, or Senior levels. Some of these tournaments include the Sub-Junior National Table Tennis Championships, Junior and Youth National Table Tennis Championships, the Senior National Table Tennis Championships, etc.
