The next match of the North Zone saw a clash between the teams of Northern Punjab and Railways at Amritsar from 02-04 December, 1960. The Railways team won the match with a good margin of 8 wickets and it also earned 9 points from it.
The teams of Delhi and Northern Punjab played against each other in the seventh of the North Zone league matches in the Ranji Trophy, 1960-61. The match was played at Delhi from 12-14 December, 1960 and it saw the Delhi team winning by an innings and 19 runs and earning the entire 9 points from it. The Railways and Services teams clashed with each other in the next match of the zone and the match took place at Delhi from 12-14 December, 1960. The match was drawn during its stipulated duration and the match officials awarded the Railways and Services teams 5 and 4 points, respectively for the match. The Delhi team then played against the Railways team at Delhi from 22-24 December, 1960 and the match was drawn during its specified duration.
