Nallathur
Nallathur is a village located in Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu. Sri SwarnaPureeswarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is an important pilgrimage centre here.
Nallathur is located in Cuddalore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a village in Cuddalore Taluk and is located at a distance of 14.3 km from its Taluk Main Town Cuddalore and almost 145 kms away from Chennai.

Nallathur is surrounded by several other villages like Chellancheri at a distance of 3.4 km, Karanapattu almost 3.4 km away, Karaimedu almost 5.7 km and Ulleripattu almost 5.3 km. There are few nearby towns like Annagramam at a distance of 13.6 kms, Panruti located at a distance of 20.1 kms, Cuddalore at a distance of 14.3 kms and Kurinjipadi situated at a distance of 36.5 kms. The village here experiences a moderate temperature. The maximum temperature goes up to 38°C and the minimum temperature goes down to 21°C. The northeast monsoon during the winter and the southwest monsoon during the summer provide rainfall to the village. Nallathur receives an average rainfall of about 1070 mm.
Nallathur has few pilgrimage centres, such as, Sri SwarnaPureeswarar Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Another important temple is the Thuraimangalam Siva Prakasar Jeeva Samadhi temple.
