The Jaya Jagadguru Murugharajendra Medical College or the JJM Medical College was established in the year 1965 and it is working as a unit of the Bapuji Educational Association. The college is located in the district of Davangere, in Karnataka, India and it has already established itself as a premier medical institute in the state. The college is affiliated to the Mysore University, Mysore and to Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta, Shimoga District from the year 1987. The college got affiliation from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangaluru in 1996. The institution is working relentlessly towards developing socially responsible and competent health work force and it is also striving continuously to meet the health needs of the region. The college is carrying out need based health system research work with an eye to use such strategies to cover the overall community development, as well.
