The University provides higher education in agriculture and allied science. The objective of the University is to cater skilled person and advanced technology to enhance the agricultural production. The University is also dedicated to promote research in this field. The University offers undergraduate and post graduate courses in Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and biotechnology. It has two separate divisions: Faculty of Agriculture under which comes Department of Forestry and Agriculture. The University also conducts MBA and doctorate programmes.
