Iluppaiyurani

Iluppaiyurani is a panchayat town in Toothukudi district (also known as Tuticorin district) in the southern state of India, Tamil Nadu. The India census report published in 2001 states that Iluppaiyurani had a population of 11,843. Males and females constitute an equal proportion of the population. In Iluppaiyurani, 10% of the population is less than six years of age. The literacy rate of Iluppaiyurani has an average literacy rate of 72% which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. Out of it, the male literacy rate is 78% and the female literacy rate is 65%.
