It is the busy beach of Goa and is ideal for swimming. It is believed that the crystal clear water of Hansa Beach is safe for swimming. The water of Hansa beach is free from the flowing currents.

Location of Hansa Beach
Hansa Beach is a beautiful beach that lies about 3 kilometres from Vasco Da Gama city of Goa. This place is usually visited from Bogmalo Beach which is 8.2 kilometres away from Hansa Beach. It is not the commercial beach of Goa. This sea beach is situated near the naval area towards Campall, which is located in the southern region of Goa.

Facts of Hansa Beach
One needs to grant the permission from Indian Naval Services to enter the Hansa beach. One would be able to experience the pristine beauty and a long stretch of sand almost isolated. It is controlled by the Indian navy wing due to its location to close proximity to major naval installations in the area. It is believed that this beach has access of naval staff and their families only and tourists can visit this beach during festivals and other special occasions. The navy team regularly cleans up the beach to make sure it remains pristine clean. Access to the beach is granted only through the INS Hansa Naval base beside the Naval Aviation Museum.
