D.S. Yadav, Indian BoxerDharmendra Singh Yadav is an Indian boxer who was born in the year 1972 on 29th December. In the year 1999 he became the proud recipient of Arjuna Award for boxing.

Career of Dharmendra Singh Yadav
Right throughput his boxing career Yadav represented India at various levels. He made 19 appearances for India at international meets from 1989 to 1994. Representing his country he won seven bronze and three silver medals. At the 1990 commonwealth Games he won a bronze medal under light flyweight division. He turned professional boxer in the year 1995, the first Indian to do so.

Dharmendra Singh Yadav completed his flyweight division at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He lost in the first round against the Hungary`s Istvan Kovacs. He finished in 17th place.
