Collinpur beach, situated in the South Andaman district of the Indian union territory Andaman and Nicobar Islands is the abode of enchanting cobalt waters and serene expanse of shimmering sand. It lies close to Tirur. Smooth sand covers the beach and the dense vegetation of the region exhibits various shades of green. Over the sea water, silver clouds keep on hovering around. The exotic Collinpur beach also features a thick veil of palm groves. It is also popularly called Sunset Bay.
Collinpur beach is U-shaped and is frequented by picnickers. Collinpur beach lies at a distance of 40 kilometres from Port Blair and has a well connectivity of roadways. In winters, the place can be best enjoyed from December to February whereas during summers, the ideal time is from March to mid May. Port Blair is the nearest airport to reach Collinpur beach from where private cars and local buses can be hired.
