Career of Kashmira Joglekar

Kashmira Ram Joglekar is an Indian Badminton Player. She is profoundly deaf in nature. She is hailing from Pune. He is an Indian badminton player from Pune, Maharashtra. Kashmira Joglekar studied in Renuka Swaroop High school in Pune, Maharashtra. Kashmira Joglekar was awarded Alexander Graham Bell Scholarship for studious deaf student for 6 years during her primary and secondary education. Kashmira Joglekar secured first rank among handicapped category throughout Maharashtra in SSC examination in 2001. She also secured first place in whole Maharashtra State during HSC examination in 2003. Kashmira Ram Joglekar got admission for Computer Engineering in Government College of Engineering Pune (COEP). She worked in HP for 3 years and in Kale Consultancy for around a year before moving to Norway. The first National championship for the deaf was held in 1988, now after a 14 years gap, the second National championship will be held at the Karnataka Badminton Association Stadium from Thursday and the three-day meet will include open and team events.

Deaflympics Career of Kashmira Joglekar
Kashmira Ram Joglekar was Indian national team player for deaf in 2000 and 2001. She has won a gold in mixed double championship with Rajeev Bagga at the Deaflympics in 2001. She has also snatched bronze in Singles and silver in doubles of Asian games for Deaf at Taiwan in 2000.

Regional Career of Kashmira Joglekar
Kashmira Ram Joglekar played for local teams of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh State, Maharashtra State during her professional career of Badminton. In Hyderabad she was trained under Mr.S M Arif. In the year 1998, Kashmira Ram Joglekar moved to Pune and started training under Mr.Devdhar. Kashmira Ram Joglekar left professional badminton after ankle injury in 2001. Kashmira Joglekar took 2001 to the Deaflympics in part. There, she won gold in the Mixed together with Rajeev Bagga. At the Asian Games for the Deaf in Taiwan in 2000, she fought for silver and bronze in the double in singles. Kashmira Ram Joglekar is not only a mere Indian badminton player, but also she is one of the inspiring personalities in Indian spots arena.
