Gaganjeet Singh Bhullar is an Indian professional golfer who became the youngest Indian to win on the Asian Tour in 2009. He is also the seventh Indian golf player to receive Arjuna Award.

Career of Gaganjeet Singh BhullarGaganjeet Singh Bhullar is an Indian sports person, prominent in the arena of golf. This professional golfer has been honoured with the Arjuna Award in the year 2013 and he is the seventh golfer to receive this honour since its introduction. In the years 2004 and 2006 he was credited as the number one amateur of India. At the 2006 Asian Games, he played along with the Indian team which bagged the silver medal. It was the same year when he turned professional.

Career of Gaganjeet Singh from 2006 to 2008
Career of Gaganjeet Singh Bhullar began with the Professional Golf Tour of India. In 2006-07 he participated in seven events and in none of them finished lower than T-18. On the Order of Merit list of the tour he finished fifth. In the following season he played 14 events and once again finished fifth on the Order of Merit. The year 2007 marked the beginning of his career in Asian Tour and he finished 77th on the Order of Merit.

He garnered much success in 2009 but played only a few matches, concentrating on the Asian Tour. His first professional victory came with PGTI Players Championship at Panchkula Golf Club. In 2009 he could not get a tour card in the beginning. In the same year he also became a runner up at the SAIL Open. Gaganjeet Singh Bhullar marked his first Asian Tour victory in 2009 at the Indonesia President Invitational. With this he got ranked 10th on the Order of Merit and in the Official World Golf Rankings his rank improved from 417 to 255. Career of Gaganjeet Singh in 2010
In 2010, Gaganjeet Singh Bhullar played a representative of Asia at the 2010 Royal Trophy. His first Asian Tour victory that year was in February at the Asian Tour International and he got ranked from 174th to 115th in the Official World Golf Rankings which marked his highest ranking till date. In May he won his sixth title at the Professional Golf Tour of India whereas in the ROLEX Rankings he finished 8th in the same year. His consistent performances in India and Asia also earned him a special invitation to play in the Japan PGA Championship.

Gaganjeet Singh Bhullar bagged victory at the inaugural Gujarat Kensville Challenge in 2011 and won the credit of being the first Indian player to win a tournament on the Challenge Tour. He also won Bangladesh Open on the Professional Golf Tour of India and PGTI Players Championship in 2011.

Career of Gaganjeet Singh in 2012
In 2012 the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship and the Venetian Macau Open were added to his list of victories. In the following year he began with a good performance at Avantha Masters, finishing as the runner-up. His fifth Asian Tour title came with his win at Indonesia Open. With his first tournament victory of this season, he catapulted to fourth place on the Asian Tour"s Order of Merit.
