Demography of Tengnoupal District
As per the Census India reports of 2011, Tengnoupal district is known to be the 5th least populous district of the state
. The total population of Tengnoupal district was 59,000 out of which 30,000 were male and 29,000 were female. The population of children between the ages of 0 to 6 years was 12 percent. The sex ratio census shows that there are 951 females per 1000 male in the district.
The Tengnoupal district has a geographically strategic location that also helps in the installation of government
infrastructures in the area.
