![]() Career of Pooja Sahasrabudhe Pooja Sahasrabudhe started her career at the age of 9 in 2000. Her coach is Mrs. Shailaja Gohad of the Boosters TT Academy and under her guidance Pooja groomed as a player. She started representing India at a very young age. She did her education and graduation from Thane, Maharashtra. In 2006-07, she became Under 17 Junior Girls Singles National Champion and in 2008, she won Silver Medal in the Women's Doubles Event at the Commonwealth Youth Games 2008 held at Pune, India. She was also a former Under 21 Youth Girls Singles National Champion in the year of 2009-10. At the 2010 South Asian Games, she won Gold Medal in Women's Team Event and Silver Medal in Women's Doubles event. Pooja won Bronze Medal at the ITTF World Tour, Morocco Open. At 3rd Fajr Cup 2014, she won Gold Medal in Women Team Event and Bronze Medal in Women's Doubles. She was a member of the Indian National Women's Table Tennis Team for the 2014 World Team Table Tennis Championships and was also a member of the Indian National Women's Team for the Asian Table Tennis Championships 2015. At the 77th Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championships, she won Gold in Team Event and in Mixed Doubles along with Silver Medal in the Women's Singles Event. She won 2 Gold Medals in Team Event and in Mixed Doubles event at the 2016 South Asian Games. She has won gold medal in 2018 Commonwealth Games in Women's team event with Manika Batra, Mouma Das, Sutirtha Mukherjee and Madhurika Patkar in recent times. Personal Life of Pooja Sahasrabudhe Pooja Sahasrabudhe in recent times got married and moved to Pune, India where she continues to train under the supervision of Mr. Rohit Chaudhary who is a Shiv Chatrapati Awardee and her husband Mr. Aniket Koparkar. |
