Sharad Malhotra is believed to be a very promising up comer in the television industry and has already carved out a niche for himself in the hearts of his fans in the daily 'Banu Mein Teri Dulhaan', which is aired on Zee Television every evening.
He is born on born January 9, 1983 and was brought up in Kolkata. He did his graduation from St. Xaviers College, Kolkata. His father is an architect and his mother is a homemaker. His sister Reema Pawa is married and is a well-known designer in Kolkata. He was the Face of the Year in the year 2001. He has also undergone training from the Kala Manthan Academy under Nishi Arora and Samrat Mukherjee. He was also trained under the Kishore Namit Kapoor acting academy in Mumbai.
Sharad Malhotra was the zonal winner of 'Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj' in the year 2004. He also modelled for commercials named Exide Battery, Standard Chartard, ICICI and ARY Alluka Gold Realiance.
He next stepped in acting in the soap 'Banu Main Teri Dulhann' and participated in a reality show called 'Yeh Hai Jalwa.'
