Career of Sozhasingarayer Robinson Sozhasingarayer Robinson is an outstanding athlete of India. He began earning recognition in the international media after leading India at the 2004 FIBA Asia Stankovic Cup against South Korea with 36 points to a surprise triumph. South Korea was a regular contender for the title at international tournaments organized in Asia. In 2006 he refused the offer for playing professionally in New Zealand for some unknown reasons. Prior to this he exhibited extraordinary performances against the Tall Blacks, nickname for the New Zealand National Basketball Team. The same year, 2006, also brought a hitch in the career of Sozhasingarayer Robinson as he got banned from representing the Basketball team of his state because he missed the training camp for the same. Sozhasingarayer Robinson is also recognized for his extremely outspoken nature. He also emphasized the lack of support for the national Basketball team of India, which he left behind after retirement in 2006. However he later tried to make his comeback in the team.
