Mukesh Kumar, Indian Golf PlayerMukesh Kumar is a professional Indian golfer, who is currently playing for the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI). He was born on 1st August 1965. He has won the Order of Merit on six occasions on the PGTI and on previous Tour`s before that Mukesh Kumar bagged 87 career titles.

Sports Career of Mukesh Kumar
Mukesh Kumar has a brilliant career with over 100 professional wins and was the Indian Champions Golfer of the Year for 2000 to 2001. In the year 2004 to 2005, Mukesh Kumar had 19 top-10s in 22 starts with 5 wins and 5 runner-ups on the AMBI PGAI Tour. He is one of the most successful golfers to come out of India in professional wins and winning percentages.

Mukesh Kumar won his first event at the highly regarded Delhi Golf Club in those 15 years at the PSPB Open Petroleum Golf Championship. There he made the three strokes win over S.S.P. Chowrasia and Digvijay Singh. It was his second win of 2005 to go along with his win in January at the Eastern Open and 3rd win on the AMBI PGAI Tour.

In the 2002 to 2003 season on the Hero Honda PGA Tournament, Mukesh Kumar had 11 wins. Mukesh Kumar also won his milestone in 100th Professional event at the 2008 Tata Open.

In 2007 to 2008, Mukesh Kumar won the four wins, 11 top-10s and his 6th Order of Merit win in India. He added a 5th career PGTI Tour win at the Solaris Chemtech Open in February 2005. He won 6th position in May at the DDA Golf Open. The win took him to the top spot on the "Order of Merit". He won 7th time at the Tamil Nadu Open in August. He won the Indian Oil Xtra Premium Golf Masters in October for his 8th PGTI. In the year 2004, Mukesh Kumar won the Hyundai-TNGF Open, Indian Oil Servo Masters and in 2005 he won the Eastern Open, Airtel Open and PSPB Open Petroleum Golf Championship.
