Architecture of Gachibowli Indoor Stadium
The architecture of Gachibowli Indoor Stadium is such that the access of the spectators is segregated from that of the sports-persons and officials. There are four large pedestrian bridges which are placed at the four cardinal points. These allow the spectators to access directly to the stands at the upper level. A combination of staircases and ramps takes the spectators to a height of 3m from ground level. There is a 4 metres wide steel-truss bridge of 12m span which leads the spectators to a circumferential corridor from where the stands can be entered. Gachibowli Indoor Stadium has wooden flooring.
