Jatin Paranjpe was the son of Vasu Paranjpe. His father Vasu Paranjpe is a former player of Ranji Trophy in Indian domestic level cricket. Vasu Paranjpe is now the current coach at National Cricket Academy.
Early Life of Jatin Paranjpe
Jatin Paranjpe made his Ranji Trophy debut in the season of 1992 and 1993. Later it took seven years to get the attention of the national selectors to play in the Indian National Cricket Team. Jatin Paranjpe made a total of 606 runs in four Ranji Trophy. This guaranteed himself a place in the Indian national cricket team. He was part of the India 'A' tour of Pakistan where he did not execute well. He also played in a One Day International (ODI) Cricket Championship. There he made his appearance in a triangular series involving Kenya and Bangladesh.
Career of Jatin Paranjpe
Jatin Paranjpe is a left-handed batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. Jatin Paranjpe was a middle-order batsman. He played briefly at the international level from the year 1998. But he retired from the national and international Indian cricket team, when he had an ankle injury. He made his debut in Ranji Trophy and his determination made him to succeed in the international cricket arena.
Jatin Paranjpe made a run-a-ball unbeaten 23 in the Sahara cup in Toronto to manoeuvre India to victory in the opening match. In two cricket matches, later he hurt his ankle in the field and was forced to fly back home. He has been confined to domestic cricket ever since. Jatin Paranjpe made 652 runs at an average of 50.15 in the 1999-2000 seasons, but failed to gain the notice of the national selectors.

Jatin Paranjpe is now residing in Netherlands and he is engaging himself in the international football from India. Jatin Paranjpe is married to Gandhali Bendre, sister of Sonali Bendre, who is one of the most renowned Bollywood Actresses.
