Colomb Beach, GoaColomb Beach is also well known as "Colom Beach". It is situated in a small horseshoe-shaped bay between the Palolem Beach and Patnem Beach. Colom Beach or Colomb Beach is situated at the south-end of the Palolem Beach on the way to Rajbag Beach, Goa. It is one of the isolated beaches of Goa.

Colom Beach is an isolated place where one can enjoy peace in the midst of nature. It is situated at 70 kilometres away from Panjim, Goa. Colom Beach or Colomb Beach is covered with the sand of a rich golden colour with some splashes of black stones, most of which are places in the water. From three sides, Colomb Beach is surrounded with rock formations of different peculiar shapes and sparse vegetation. The landscape beauty of this beach is a set off with several tall palm trees.

Things to do in Colomb Beach
Colomb Beach is very suitable for those who have a preference to spend their holidays quietly and solitarily. Colomb Beach has some beautiful eco-tourism complexes which attract the visitors. The northern end of the beach is bordered by Neptune`s Point, the rocky outcrop that separates Colomb Beach from Palolem Beach. Neptune`s Point is the home to the famous Silent Noise weekly headphone parties.

Another most interesting sightseeing of Colomb Beach is a special and exceptional rock called Pandava"s drum. If a stone is thrown into the rock and hit a certain place, people can hear the similar sound to the sound of the drum. Colomb Beach is safe for swimming also. There is a village called Colom Village next to to Colomb Beach. It is a fishing village and a lot of fishing community huts can be seen here. Colom Village also has some places that hold out yoga classes and also an Ayurvedic healing centre which is situated close by. For the travellers and campers, parking is also available at this village.

To get to Colomb Beach is not so much tough. Regular buses run between Palolem Beach resort and Margao city which stops here. Nearest airport is Dabolim Airport, Goa.
