Grape Escapade or the 'Grape Festival' is an annual festival which is celebrated with great pomp and glory in the Indian state of Goa. Continuing for a period of four days, this interesting festive event involves unique wine tasting sessions, live cultural performances and dance shows, fashion shows and various other forms of entertainment. Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTGC) organizes this colourful event, which transforms into a confluence of global wine connoisseurs and wine manufacturers, hospitality professionals and wine lovers. The Grape Escapade is a beautiful blend of the diverse cultures of Goa as well as the numerous creative flavours possessed by this region of the country.
Every year, certain brand new features are added to the Grape Escapade festival, which is complete with exclusive cultural programmes. Many kinds of lifestyle products are believed to be introduced in the next Grape Escapade, which aims to draw a larger audience. International wine tasters and commentators are invited to such a festival, who shares with the audience certain ideas associated with the above. One will come across a wide range of entertainment programmes which consist of drinks and food, thanks to the vast quantity of food stalls which are present in this festival. Sometimes, fashion shows conducted here might crown a 'Queen', who is the most beautiful young lady of Goa. Exciting prizes are offered to the winners.
