Gagandeep Kaur, Indian ArcherGagandeep Kaur is a popular archer from India born in the year 1994. She is a young talent and has made a huge name for him already. With several awards and honours, already to his name, this sportsperson has made his country proud in many ways.

Right from a very young age she was positively inclined towards archery. This is a main fact that actually led her to take up archery as a full time career. During her younger days, seeing her capability in archery many people around her, including her coach, thought she would make it big someday. And she did represent her state of Punjab and won laurels and awards.

She, in the process of her archery career, became the first archer from the India state of Punjab, to win bronze medal in Archery women`s compound team with Jhano Hansdah and Bhagyabati Chanu, defeating Malaysia. This was a performance that was not expected from her, given the fact that she was new to the field, yet she performed way beyond the expectation. She was actually awarded with the sum of Rs 2 lakhs cash prize from the Punjab University in Patiala.
