Pranitha Vardhineni, Indian ArchersPranitha Vardhineni was born on 17th November, in the year 1990, in born 17 Kalleda villages in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh. She is a famous Indian archer who has, so far, won many a competitions both at national and international level. She actually attended Rural Development Foundation`s Kalleda Rural School before she was selected to attend the Tata Archery Academy.

2008 Summer Olympics
Vardhineni took part in the women`s individual and team events at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, but failed to reach the finals in both events. She teamed with the talented Bombayala Devi and Dola Banerjee in the team event. They were ranked sixth in the qualifiers. In the round of 16 they got a bye, but lost to China by 206-211 in the quarterfinals. In the individual event, she was ranked 37th in the qualifiers. She defeated Jane Waller of Australia by 106-100 in the round of 64, but lost to Kwon UN Sil of North Korea by 99-106 in the round of 32.
