Some of the interesting tourist attractions of Dhemaji District are as follows -
Malini Than: This beautiful place has been used by the local populace for worshiping Goddess Malini. Lots of historical monuments have also been excavated from the spot. It is located at around 42 kms away in the north eastern direction of Dhemaji District.

Gerukamukh: Gerukamukh is another attraction of this region. It is located at a distance of near about 44 kms from the district headquarters. Regular communication is available from Dhemaji, Lakhimpur and Guwahati. At Gerukamukh Sobansiri, the largest tributary of Brahmaputra River touches the plains from the hills giving a picturesque scenic beauty. The condition is favourable for experiencing some adventurous options and picnic parties. National Hydro Electric Power Corporation is implementing a mega hydro electric power project at Gerukamukh.

Ghuguha Dol: It is historically believed that at this place Bamuni Konwar, the son of then Ahom King Tyao Khamti was born. The Dol (Temple) was built in the memory of Bamuni Konwar`s mother Ghuguhi and is located at a distance of 17 kms in south west of Dhemaji.

Maa Manipuri Than: This place of worship is situated at a distance of around 25 kms in the south west direction of Dhemaji was established by the Ahom King Gourinath Singha as a monument of help by the Manipuries in controlling Mua-Mariah renaissance during the later period of Ahom reign.

Further, in addition to these attractions, tourism in Dhemaji District also includes some more important places of interest like Rajgarh, Garakhia Than, Rajgarh Ali (road constructed by Prince Gohain Kamal during Konch reign and is at a distance of 22 kms from Dhemaji), and more.

Apart from these, the tourism in Dhemaji District also offers some beautiful and magnificent sightseeing options. There is vast forestland in this district which offers exploring options to the visitors. Botanically the forest of Dhemaji district can be divided into three divisions and these are mixed, deciduous and mixed deciduous. The forest in the district is scattered in the foothill areas. The forest resources are timber, bamboo and cane with swamps covered with grass and reeds. There are nine reserved forests covering a huge area of the district. The nine reserve forests of this district are Jiadhal, Subansiri, Sissi, Simen, Archiac, Jamjing, Senga, Gali and Pova.
