Gujarat common entrance test (GUJCET) is organized by the Education Department under the Government of Gujarat. This common entrance test is conducted for admissions to various degree and diploma courses in engineering, pharmacy and medical degree courses.

This common entrance is organized for getting admissions into several Medical, Engineering degree programmes as well as diploma/ degree courses in Pharmacy offered by the renowned colleges (both Government sponsored and private) in the state of Gujarat. Candidates who have passed their 12th standard examination can appear for this entrance test. Only those candidates who are residing in Gujarat are eligible to apply for this entrance test. Every year a huge number of students appear for GUJCET for seeking admissions to these various degree courses.

Aspirants can obtain the application forms and the information booklet prepared by the GSEB (Gujarat State Education Board) on making payment of the requisite amount. The candidates can make the payment through a nationalized bank demand draft drawn in favour of "Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) Cell, Gandhinagar, payable at Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad. The candidates must note the last date of form submissions. The candidates can also download the application form the official website of the Board.

Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat common entrance test (GUJCET)
The minimum eligibility requirement for appearing Gujarat common entrance test (GUJCET) is a 10+2 pass certificate. The interested candidates should have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination from any recognized Board. Students who are appearing for their 12th Board examinations are also eligible to apply. Moreover, the candidates have to be the residents of the state of Gujarat.

The question paper of Gujarat common entrance test (GUJCET) is comprises four main papers, each of them containing 40 questions. The medium of this common entrance test is English language. Time allotted to each paper is 1 hour that is 60 minutes. The papers of this test are as follows -
