Sree Gokulam Medical College and Hospital (SGMCH), Thiruvananthapuram mainly offers the undergraduate course of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) to the students. This is a 4 1/2 year course followed by 1 year internship and the college admits a total of 50 students in this course, every year. The college provides all the necessary facilities to the students to study and do research work. The seats of MBBS course in this college are divided into 50% merit and 50% management. The college management admits candidates in the merit seats through Kerala State Medical entrance, conducted by Kerala Entrance Board. The management seats are filled through a test conducted by the college. For getting admitted in the MBBS course in SGMC, Thiruvananthapuram, the candidates are required to pass the 12th class (Intermediate) examination.
