Established by the famous father-son duo of Indian Tennis, Ramanathan Krishnan and Ramesh Krishnan, the Krishnan Tennis Centre (KTC) has established itself as a premier Tennis academy in India. The centre was established in the year 1995 with a view to provide modern training facilities to the young and promising Indian Tennis players. The centre has been working on producing world class Tennis players to represent India in the international arena, as well.
The Krishnan Tennis Centre (KTC) has most of the necessary modern facilities along with professional management. It provides the trainees with proper training by veteran coaches who make use of the new training methods. The Centre has training programmes for everyone, from amateurs to beginner, top-ranking juniors, collegiate players, adults and even professionals. Apart from providing training facilities to the local players the KTC also conducts special training camps, for the benefit of outstation players. The Krishnan Tennis Centre follows different training methods for professionals and amateurs and the training sessions are usually for 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening. The KTC offers training to small groups with individualized programmes and personalised attention.
The Krishnan Tennis Centre (KTC) has a number of facilities to provide training to the players. It has a total of 11 Tennis courts, out of which, 9 are quick-dry clay courts and two are synthetic surface courts. It also has a Clubhouse inclusive of changing rooms and shower facilities. The Fitness centre located inside the premises of KTC is well equipped while accommodation facility and it is mainly provided to the outstation players if requested for. As a whole, the Krishnan Tennis Centre (KTC) is recognised as one of the most developed Tennis academies in India. It has produced a number of top class Tennis players, as well.
